Some years, I put together elaborate Teacher appreciation gifts. And other years, I’m looking for something quick, easy, and cheap… but while still being thoughtful.

This is an easy teacher appreciation gift that comes out to about $3 each, perfect for when you have 10 teachers on your list like I do this year.

Give the gift of an at-home movie night. For each teacher, buy one movie theater style candy (usually $1 or less at stores like Walmart or CVS) and have one bag of microwave popcorn per teacher (buy in a big box and separate- they’re individually wrapped anyway!). Then, give each teacher a Redbox code for a free rental. I made this Teacher Gift printable for you, so you can write the code on it and have a cute little gift.

To get your movie codes, select buy promo codes on the Redbox site. You can get 5 for $7.50, 10 for $15, and it goes up from there (prices are different for blu ray and these prices are accurate as of today’s posting 5/26/17). Email them to yourself and you’ll be sent the codes within a few minutes of purchasing them. Carefully copy a code (or more than one if you want) onto the card for the teacher. Each code can only be used once. (in case you’re wondering, this post is not associated with Redbox- I would have told you if it was- it’s just a really simple and inexpensive idea. Way back when, I did something similar with Blockbuster gift cards, but that obviously doesn’t work now- HA!).

I’ll have more teacher gift ideas for you this weekend- still keeping them simple, but doing a final days countdown with some easy gifts you can send in to get the teachers through the last few days of school.
