It started snowing at Guides last night, it was as much as we could do to contain the girls in the hall!! All they wanted to do was go out and play! It snowed all the way home and this morning we woke to find a couple of centimetres of the White Stuff on the ground.

This is nothing compared to the rest of the country but it is enough for my boys who were jumping up and down with glee. They could not wait to get out on their way to school this morning, the 10 minute journey took longer as we had to stop every few steps to collect snowballs to throw. It was quite fun!

So many people round here hate snow, they panic at the sight of it and constantly complain about everything from roads to heating. From school closures to non deliveries in shops. I can't understand this attitude at all, especially when there is only a centimetre or two. But the sight of the white stuff does funny things to people, we don't get that much snow around here in Bucks, even at its heaviest I have only seen about 10-15 centimetres. But chaos always ensues.

I like to take a different approach to snow, I jumped out of bed this morning to go and show the boys, we all snuggled in my bed for a little while then wrapped up warm and headed to school, playing all the way. I looked around admiring the beauty the snow always brings, it always makes everything look so pretty. I wish we had more snow here but if we did I am sure I would join the miseries in constantly complaining and I don't want that to happen, I want to remain loving the snow and enjoying it for as long as we get it.
