Back to School Wreath

It’s that time, Back to School! All the excitement of a new School year. Fresh starts, learning and meeting new teachers.

Getting into the groove again can be quite a challenge. Why not add some extra fun to the experience with cool school decor.

Our DIY Back to School Wreath will add some fun to your front door or classroom. Made with Hygloss School Borders, rulers and glue! That’s it, instant wreath.

Supplies

  • School Bus Border, Hygloss Products
  • 7 inch Apple Accents, Hygloss Products
  • 3 Wood Rulers
  • Craft Glue, Craft Scissors

Step One

Cut apart several strips of the school buses using scissors. Then start the first layer of your wreath by gluing the ends of each school bus to each other. Forming a large circle shape.

Step Two

Add a second layer of school buses. This time bend the school buses to form arches. Then glue these to the layer in a random direction.

Step Three

Insert wood rulers into the wreath in a random pattern. Glue in place. Then add the Apple accent to the top center and lettering.

Optional

  • Add curled ribbon or raffia for more dimension.
  • Glue to a wreath base for a thicker wreath.
  • Add glitter or classroom saying through out the wreath.

Wishing all of you a wonderful Back To School. Stay tuned for more fun projects!
