Being in three places at once.

Tags: meal

Ever feel like it’s impossible to be in three places at once? That’s because it is impossible. This summer has been hectic. It’s actually non stop all day everyday and I have a small window for some time to myself which I have to decide if I want to eat, sleep or watch tv or something because I can’t do all three. On occasion I would even use this time to cry… Well, a 3 month old just lays there, a 1 year old is easy to control and a 10 year old just does his own thing anyways, right?

For a small part of the day, yes these are all true. But then you hit many walls throughout the day where they all need to eat at the same time. They’re all being demanding at the same time. They made a mess at the same time. They’re all being difficult at the same time. And in between keeping up with everyone you have to clean and also cook three different meals per meal time.  It is truly an endless cycle and I am literally out of breath after having to juggle three meals and then clean up and then start over again. Even before noon hits, I am already so mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted…

So I am learning the art of letting go, and making it a habit. I know that I have already changed alot, but there are some days where it does get too hard and I lose my focus. I know I am not the only one going through this.

Feel free to shoot me a pm about how you manage or if you just need somebody to listen! I would love to connect with you.
