There are thousands of affiliate programs/businesses out there so one has quite a lot options to choose from,all you need to do is to take your time and identify the best program that suits you and that you feel you can trust.

DO NOT JOIN MANY AFFILIATE PROGRAMS ALL AT ONCE
Since affiliate programs are easy to join,many people think joining multiple affiliate programs will make them maximize their earnings.The problem is that promoting all of them at once would be very hard and might probably limit your ability to concentrate your efforts on any of them.
My recommendation would be to join one affiliate program that you like and that pays a descent commission,then put in all of your effort into it by promoting your products with enthusiasm.
Once you feel you are making a reasonable profit then you may move to join another program.
The idea here is to do this slowly but surely taking your sweet time.
Most people rush into this and join many Programs at once and when they fail they start saying things like Affiliate Programs are a SCAM, while really their lack of organisation and patience is what got the best of them, causing them to fail tremendously.
The future is really looking very bright for Affiliate Programs and affiliate marketing will be staying for a very long,long time.
So do not rush take time to organize your things,have objectives,have a game-plan and follow it at all times.Success is just around the corner.
