Twitterati Abuzz With MS Dhoni’s Imminent Retirement From The Game As He Takes Ball From Third Umpire, WATCH

Twitterati is abuzz with wild speculation that M.S. Dhoni might retire sooner than later from the game he much loved going by the signals he is sending out to his fans.

Taking a cue from the gesture of MS Dhoni in taking the match Ball from the third umpire after the final one day game in Leeds, England, Twitterati has gone to town with hints of his retirement in his action.

The star batsman cum wicketkeeper took the ball as a souvenir, after the series-deciding one day match at Leeds in which Team England convincingly outplayed India.

This is construed as a clear signal that the veteran MS Dhoni is sending out signals that he is contemplating retirement.

At the end of the innings and as when both sides were walking back to the pavilion, MS Dhoni asked for the match ball from the umpire.

One concerned Twitter fan has tweeted “I am scared now… It is not time for Dhoni to retire… please Dhoni… stay”

While another fan of the veteran cricketer has come out with “MS Dhoni took the ball from the third umpire. His last game in England?

“MS Dhoni is going to retire soon, Mark my words” howls another twitter post.

Chasing 258, England finished 260/2 as India lost the three-match ODI series by 2-1.

Are Dhoni fans reading too much into his actions and don’t want him to call it a day at least till the next world cup?
