Gundu Hanmantha Rao Passes Away With Kidney Problem

Popular Telugu Cinema Comedian Gundu Hanumantha Rao breathed his last today in the early morning today. He passed away at his residence in Hyderabad due to a kidney problem. He has been suffering from complications related to kidney problem for quite some time.

Recently he shared about his health problem on a television show hosted by another comedian Ali, about his health issue. Some of the people from the film industry have promised to help him. However, Hanumantha Rao died today as the complications aggravated. His wife died before him. He is survived by his son.

Gundu Hanumantha Rao acted in 40 films and also did some television serials in Telugu. He got good recognition in the film made by Jandhyala named ‘Aha naa pellanta’ where he played the role of a hearing impaired very convincingly. He is also well known for his role as ‘Anji’ a chef in the comedy television serial named ‘Amrutham.’ He got a great appreciation for his roles and also received three Nandi Awards.

Hanumantha Rao was born in Vijayawada in 1956 in a middle-class family. He started playing roles in theatre from a young age. The first role he played on the stage was that of popular demon kind Ravanasura.
