It is a distinct pleasure to announce the launch of TechnoBuffalo’s second website, The Nerdy.

For the better part of three years I’ve been working on getting this together in quiet. From a monster document, to talking with old contacts, to trying to figure out how I run two sites at once, this has been a Massive Undertaking.

Yes, the launch of The Nerdy does not mean I will no longer be working on TechnoBuffalo. Quite the opposite, in some mad moment of delusion, I will be running both sites. It will be a massive undertaking, but one I’m looking forward to. I’m never one to shy away from a challenge.

What is The Nerdy?

So what will The Nerdy be about? As the name would imply, it’s about being a nerd, but it’s something more than that. While the focus will be on comic books, movies, TV shows, toys, anime and more, I’ve also told my writers that isn’t the limit. If they’re super excited about a new album, if they’ve gotten into studying the history of ribs, if they are nerding out about something, they are free to discuss it on The Nerdy.

In short, your brand of nerdiness is welcome at The Nerdy.

I’ve been working on this for ages, and I’m super excited to finally give it life. In some ways I feel like I’ve been prepping for this site my entire life, and the time has finally come to hit the track and see if I can score a goal! (Okay… sports metaphors may not fall into my nerdy realm…)

Kidding aside, I’m excited for this project, and I hope all of you will come over and check out. Let me know what you think as the site is sure to change with time. I have so many plans for it, we’ll see how many of them I can actually get to!
