Disney is the undisputed king of the box office.
With $88.34M this Weekend, Beauty and the Beast had a strong hold in its second weekend on the top spot with only a 49.4 percent drop. It now stands at $316.95M domestically and $690.25M globally off of a $160M budget.
Power Rangers opened in second place on stronger numbers than expected taking in $40.5M domestically, but it was fairly weak internationally taking in just $18.7M for a globally total of $59.2M off of a $100M budget.
Kong: Skull Island landed in third place with $14.42M for a new domestic total of $133.5M. Globally it sits at $392.1M off of a $185M budget.
Fourth place went to the weak opening of Life with just $12.6M off of its $58M budget.
Logan rounded out the top five with $10.14M for a new domestic total of $201.45M and globally at $565.47M off of its $97M budget.
This week will see The Boss Baby and Ghost in the Shell.
