Pumpkin Update (6)

Gardening is all about belief and patience. My second crop of Pumpkins are growing like topsy and are now at a stage, having been transplanted three times into larger sized pots, for me to consider moving outdoors. The vagaries of the British weather are such that I will probably not do that until the next Bank Holiday is out of the way – they are notorious for inclement weather – but I will buy the grow bags this week in anticipation.

Even the Seeds I planted with BoJ1 and which I was in despair about have started to shoot up, reinforcing my view that the elemental forces of nature and sheer survival instinct will always outweigh any horticultural incompetence.

Always seek out the seed of triumph in every adversity, they say. My seeds have finally come up trumps, at least!
