Ribs

Thirty minutes after getting through the front door and I've been working again.  I have a new web form for technical support and I had to get it live and draw up an instruction page in the hope that my customers will use the help request system instead of bombarding my Phone every time they don't know how to do something.  My customer base is so large now that some days my phone is ringing every 15 minutes.  I wouldn't get any work done at all if I was to answer every call.

Anyway, its nearly bed time and I know a lot of what I'm experiencing is the work blues.  Its a savage thing to go from spending days lazing, in bright sunshine, on pristine beaches, to cold misery and never ending work calls.  If I was a clever man I would have worked out a system - a job - where I could spend months of the year in the Canaries.  How is it that I can't think of a job where I mostly faff around in a Warm climate?

The journey home from the warm climate wasn't much fun.  I was sat next to a man who looked like a nightclub bouncer.  We spent the entire flight accidentally elbowing each other in the ribs.  He also kept rubbing his entire leg down mine and I was getting annoyed because I had nowhere to move my legs to.  Jennifer said that is was unfortunate that two big men happened to get placed next to one another.  Still, we didn't speak much, which suited me.  I hate small talk and I really hate it on a plane for four hours.
