Time

I Walked back to the apartment in my bare feet today.  My flip-flop-McFlippiters had rubbed against my toe to the point it had blistered and it was painful to walk.  I did have a plaster on it, but I lost it on the beach somewhere.  Some poor sod is going to be building a sandcastle at some point and find my soggy plaster stuck in the middle of it.

Anyway, I walked up in my bare feet, which is no big deal, but I think its the farthest I’ve ever walked without shoes on, especially outside.  Life is full of little milestones, records and statistics.  The statistic I hate the most is when its the last time you do something.  Mostly, when you do something for the last time, you don’t know that its the last time until much later.  That’s why we should cherish every time we do something we enjoy, because you never know if you’ll ever do it again.

I’ve never owned (or driven) a classic Mini or a Beetle.  I would like to drive both at some time (but not at the same time obviously).  I would be happy if it was even the case that the first time was the last time.
