Cows

As much as I scrub, I cannot get all over yesterday's dirt off my hands.  It was a particularly dirty job and we were both stinking after it.  I vainly tried, at the beginning, to keep myself clean, but I gave up because everything I touched had decades of Ground in cow crap on it.  I have a new chap who started Yesterday.  I found him standing, Partly bemused, partly confused and partly horrified at what we were doing.  The wind was howling and the rain was beating in diagonally, and he was on the ground, wrapped in fleeces and hoods, while I edged my way around a high wall to clip some cable in place.  There was a large bull in one of the pens and I thought it best to take my chances on the wall than to get into the pen with him.

Hi-tech companies shouldn't be working in cold, wet, sh*tty environments, but mine does.  Mine does because there's a market in these environments, which exists because other companies won't go there.  This is the foundation I'll build on and, if all works out well, I will annihilate all that comes my way.  I am going to be really hard work when I get on my foot, so to speak.
