In the past when Pakatan was still opposition, they were Bullied by BN. Government institutions were abused and laws were applied selectively for this purpose. 

Now Pakatan is government. It is amazing how quickly they learn to use their position to bully. 

I pity Lynas. It's a case of wrong time wrong place. They thought Malaysia was a good country to invest in, strategic location, educated people (or they thought) and cheaper labour cost. Little did they know they would be made political scapegoat. 

Till now, I have not seen any evidence of harmful radiation. Not from anyone. Not even from Fuziah the key protestors or the so-called Minister of Science Yeo. No evidence of danger at all. 

Yet the whole thing is so emotional among those who oppose the factory. The Minister of Science stipulated harsh new conditions at its whim and fancy and adopted a confrontational approach. 

If the original agreement is to recycle the residue, if cannot then store, if cannot then last resort remove, then this should be followed. 

The government prevented recycling, stated no place to store and forces Lynas to remove residue. Very wrong and unethical. 

You cannot have one law for Lynas and other law for the rest in the mining, oil and gas who also deal with low radiation material.  

As a Malaysian, I find this whole episode very embarrassing. The ignorance is shocking.
