Dr M has the best opportunity to remove Race based government aids now that he is at his most popular.
So it is very disappointing that he still believes that it is the right thing to do.
Any government aid should be based on one's needs rather than skin colour.
The race based government aids only leads to laziness among those receiving it. Why work hard when government just gives to you?
Among non-bumiputera, it only causes unhappiness. Many have already left. Why stay when you are treated unfairly?
The brain drain from Malaysia is so great. I work in Perth and there are so many Malaysians doctors, engineers, scientists and businessmen here. Most are Chinese. There are some Indians and even Malay, who feel Malaysia is a slowly sinking ship.
With race based policies, Malaysia will never be great.
