ANNA DID IT AGAIN………………….

Anna Hazare‘s reaction to the news that Sharad Pawar was slapped by an individual, “Ek hi mara kya (only one slap),” suggest that has started to thi nk that he has gone beyond everybody and say anything and get away with it.

It true that he has taken the corruption campaign to the highest level ever imaginable, however, this does not give him the license to give irresponsible statements like this, when the whole world is watching him.

View this statements from Mr. Hazare :

Statement 1 : “Ek hi mara kya (only one slap),” and see how he gives explanations later

Statement 2 : “He (the attacker) may be very angry. This is not good. Anger is not good. Our Constitution does not tell us to be violent with anyone.” (Seasoned politician’s Statement)

Statement 3 : “I was addressing a daily gathering of people when someone sent me a note informing about the attack. I wanted to know whether it was just a slap or there was some other kind of violence.” (This is how politician lie as negative reactions come in)

Statement 4 : “However, if it is perceived that I have said something wrong, I am ready to apologise,” (You are too big Anna… you are ready to apologise… but you didn’t)

Anna Hazare, stop acting like a politician and stop giving bytes to the news hungry TV channels… or you have become addicted to the TV cameras to such an extent that you can’t live without them, just as hungry people can’t sleep without food.

So how Mr. Anna Hazare  created TRP  for himself: 

• makes an irresponsible statement on live TV and then,

• tries to undo the damage done – the projection by the initial statement that he supports such behaviour – by making a u-turn in the form of a second statement that he condones such behaviour and then,

• lies about the event and then,

• makes a conditional offer to apologise – but does not, in fact apologise

One could expect this behaviour pattern from a politician, but not from a self-proclaimed Gandhian such as Anna Hazare.   After telling the Nation to beat up people who drink and  expressing deep sorrow that one of our Union Ministers was only slapped once.
