Aloha Everyone,
 It's a new week, and this morning there was some "ua" for a little while.After a few hours it has cleared up,and now it looks pretty dang good ,I say.Where I live is kind of higher here in central Oahu,so sometimes the weather is cooler and the moisture is greater.For those living near the coast, the hot tempature is pretty constant due to it's close proximity to the beautiful ocean If it rains heavy here and the sky is dark,that means normally  the whole island is getting pounding with rain.Sundays are pretty mellow here island wide.People going to their childrens sport funtions,some people checking out garage sales,and lots of football fanatics are watching their favorite teams,a left-over remnant of college football viewing almost all day Saturday, for some sports nuts.Island families are pretty spiritual, so some folks are off to church and those that are not so spiritually inclined,make it to the sunny beaches for rest and relaxation before going back to the grind on Monday morning.Lots of functions are scheduled for the family on Sundays.Either by private charities or our state government most of the time.It gives families needed time to do things with one another as a family unit, with a good natured purpose,sometimes it will include free entertainment or food vendors with goodies to sell to everyone.Most Sundays are filled with free park activities,like at the Kapiolani Bandstand there is quite a bit of different cultural happenings going on there.Some special locations throughtout the island even have what the city calls" Sunset on the Beach" events,in which the city shows for free recent movies or first time premiers of certain shows.Or is that on Saturdays?It still close enough to Sunday.Lots of food vendors are invited and everybody enjoys themselves.Yes!Sundays are really about taking it easy and pretty much getting relaxed to the max.Whether your surfing,going church,shopping,bargain hunting,relaxing or even snoozzing all day.It' so very nice just to feel so damm happy and not to fight that stupid H-2 and H-3 traffic on the way to work again.Just enjoy your Sunday everyone you deserve it.
