By my words I speak life

"Drill baby drill" was the mantra chanted at the Republican National Convention by the likes of Sarah Palin and the then Lt. Governor (now Republican Chair) Michael Steel. A slogan that quickly faded into the recesses of the American consciousness . Questions like could we find new oil reserves without destroying protected land? or do we have time to find alternative energy sources? declared the rivals. That debate lasted only a moment until the bottom fell out of the economy. A new president was elected and was given the keys to a world in utter disaster. The front page quickly tuned to bail outs, foreclosures and unemployment. "It's the economy stupid" a president once said in the 90's as he crossed into the New Millennium with both a surplus and balanced budget.

The canvas of of toady's papers are colored in doom and gloom as well as fear and doubt. A couple of weeks ago in this month of March, the national unemployment rate hit 8.1%. A rate that would mark the highest in 25 years. A number thought to be unthinkable only a year prior is the new norm. Little solace has been found in lower gas prices of recent days. We also played witness to the Dow closing below 8,000, again reflecting marks hit back in the early 80's. Historians looking back generations later should ask was that all that was reported and I would say no, look behind door number one.

Behind door one is hope and opportunity and door number two fear and despair. Not unlike the choice in in the red pill or blue offered to Neo in the Matrix. From the time I opened door number one and walked through, I started reflecting on what was within my realm of control. Removing myself from the daily hysteria generated from our current state of affairs is my only option. The door I chose to open came with huge responsibility couched in optimism and endless possibility. This was do to my unwavering belief in God in his infinite wisdom. He created me for such a time as this and equipped me to conquer the giants in my path. Not unlike David striking down the Golitah in his path with a single stone.

I, like my siblings, would be passing the torch of our family legacy to the next generation. This is why it is imperative for me to be on record as defying the odds and shattering old paradigmns. I am reaching back and grabbing hold of the wisdom my parents imparted to me, and pulling it forward ever so fast. With every ouch of my faith I am pushing this mantle of success into the future for all to see. The lineage of Phillip and Dellene Oglesby is in my blood and propels me forward as I walk that path of mine.

I choose daily to see open doors, green lights and clear pathways. I choose daily to speak life, encouragement with a can do and will do spirit. The laws of universe indicate that whatever you focus on most grows, and what ever you say becomes so." SO WATCH WHAT YOU SAY!!!" Your words have more power than you think.

I focus on wealth and I declare and decree unlimited abundance. I focus on multiple contracts and declare and decree multiple streams of income. Lastly I focus on not participating in this recession and declare and decree the creation of multiple jobs with income. I also declare and decree developing skills and debt cancellation and endless opportunities. I end by asking you about the slogans, mantras and statements that best reflect the life you want to live. Do they breath life or do the breed the seeds of despair. "My path is open, all obstacles have been removed.", that is Kim's slogan. Please join me behind door number one "grasshopper".
