Take a good look around your house now!
Do you seen clutter, dust and dirt filling every corner? Or do you see clean, calm open space with everything neatly in it’s place. Can you remember the last time your house had a really good clean? Do you remember how good it felt and how positive the energy flow was after the work was done?

Feng Shui is an the ancient art of placement, and can have a profound effect on your health, wealth, career and family success. You don’t need to fill your house with gaudy chinese ornaments if you don’t like them or they don’t suit your decor, BUT by following a few simple rules you can alter the energy flow of your home to help support you and your endeavours.

– Clear the clutter (things lying all over the place, stop the flow of positive energy)
– Front yard and path to your front door should be clear of clutter and overhanging branches.
– Lights along the path with help direct good energy into your front door.
– Your front door must open fully without hinderance.
– All locks and screens must be in good working order.
– If your backyard slopes downwards, plant some tall trees, put in a flag pole or light up high to help support you.
– Move your furniture at least 3 inches in any direction to allow fresh energy to flow.
– Any outdoor water features must have the flow of water pointing in the direction of the house not away from it.
– Use Earthy tones in bathrooms to downplay money loss.
– Decorate bathrooms with stones and sand.
– Hang a multifaceted crystal sphere in the South East sector of your home to improve finances.
– Keep toilet lids down and close bathroom doors, to stop money flushing away.
– Keep your pantry well stocked to allow the feel of abundance.
– A porcelain bowl filled with crystals or gemstones should be placed in the centre of your home.
– Never have water features or plants in the bedroom.
– Don’t display elephant statures if their trunks point downwards.
– If you have a TV or computer in your bedroom, place a cloth over the screen at night to help you relax and enjoy deeper sleep.

All of the above will help you get the most you can from your surrounds, but these are only a few tips to get you started. But this is really just the tip of the iceberg, it’s only when you get a real guide to help you assess your home that you realise how many things are working against the positive flow of energy and draining your luck.
