Coincidence 1
Ok, I think a bit of history is needed first...
Years ago I was really good friends with this guy called Paul, then my relationship (with someone else) broke dwon and Paul, being a good friend, helped me to get over it. Eventually we ended up seeing each other but the truth was, he wasn't really relationship material - we were both seeing other people openly whilst we were together. We went our separate ways and every so often got in touch with each other. As I said, this was years ago and we haven't seen each other for ages. He tends not to get in touch now because he's knows I'm with someone else. The last time I heard from him was in October.
Anyway, with his job he has a very distinctive car and this last week I kept seeing cars like his and so wondered if it was him. Seeing them made me reminiece about the 'good old days', and so when I got a phone call from him, out of the blue, on Wednesday night it just struck me as being an extraordinary coincidence - especially since I hadn't heard from him for about 6 months.

With my job as an accountant I'm responsible for preparing accounts for several company - some abroad. On Thusday night I had this dream that the Financial Controller in one of the US companies had handed their notice in and I was asked if I wanted the job - which meant moving over to the States. Don't get too excited - that didn't happen! However my boss did come in to my office this morning to tell me that the financial controller in one of the US companies had handed their notice in and therefore it would mean that I would need to be more 'hands on' when dealing with them, and need to spend about a week a month over in the States....
See, now both of these taken on their own merits would be nothing more than a coincidence I'm sure, but given that they both happened within days of each other,seems just a little more than a coincidence to me! Oh course, now I'm planning to dream of winning the lottery tonight . . . but of course, I suppose I best buy a ticket first!
