Si Sawat: People read out house registration numbers this way: ‘house registration number ten’, ‘house registration number one two three’ or ‘house registration number one hundred and twenty three’, and ‘house registration number twelve slash three four’.

Narrator: In respect of a house registration number with a two-digit number, the number should be read like a normal two-digit number, for example ‘house registration number ten’. If the number is a three or more than three-digit number, it can be read as single-digit numbers or like a normal three or more than three-digit number, for example ‘house registration number one two three’ or ‘house registration number one hundred and twenty three’. In respect of a house registration number with a slash in it, the number that comes after the slash should be read as single-digit numbers, for example ‘house registration number twelve slash three four’.
