Day 3: A *SONG*...demonstrating how Underrated you think a Musical is.
Wow, this is a tricky one. Most of the musicals I have seen aren't regarded as underrated. As I live in Australia, we generally get the productions that have been successful in the UK or US. And it's not like I see a musical every week.
So as I write this, I still don't know what song I'm going to pick.
I have made a list of musicals that I have seen (that ones I can remember) and I can't define one as 'underrated' so I've decided to pick a song that shows the 'worth' of the musical.
It has still taken me awhile to choose a song but I've finally settled on Seasons of Love from Rent.
Rent definitely made it's mark when it opened so it's not hard to 'prove it's worth' but I think this song really does give us an insight into the beauty of this musical.

It brings everything back to what really matters. To steal from another saying it's the 'moments that take our breath away'.
