A new installment on IncrediBlog, the Dunce of the Week award will be given out weekly to the person who most exemplifies the qualities of a moron. It will be posted some time during the weekend, so anything from Sunday to Saturday is eligible.
If you have been on the internet at all this week, chances are that you have seen at least a few of the misguided ramblings of a one Chris Crocker. If you have not, check here to see him talk about why the entire nation should lay off Britney Spears. While the fashion choices of this man are completely baffling (the mustache, lipstick, extremely fake blond hair, and mascara might be a bit of a faux pas) it is his outstanding commitment to being an idiot that makes this choice so easy. While the obvious example of his stupidity would be him CRYING over the treatment of a celebrity who is being paid much too much to be the feature of tabloids around the world, a look at his channel will show you just how deserving he is.
The first sight you will see as his obnoxious page loads will be an image of a poorly-drawn pink panties-clad Jesuit figure with a bold statement above proclaiming Mr. Crocker as "The New Christ". If by "Christ" you mean "YouTube flavor of the week" then, yes, you are 100% correct. However, beyond this stunning display of vanity there are still videos to be seen. I will save you the trouble and just tell you that he is wrong about essentially everything. A few gems:
"If I were ever Miss Universe, what I would grant to the country is 20/20 eye vision. I believe everybody has the right to see my beauty"
"I don't think that gays should have to serve in the draft"
"20-some-odd years later, we know just about as much now as we did then about [AIDS]"
"Yes, childbirth may be painful and yeah, PMS may suck, but I have to shave my face every day."
I know. I may have a candidate for Dunce of the Decade. Despite the glaring oversight about how homosexuals aren't allowed in the Army, the more comical statement has to be him forgetting that there hasn't been a draft in America since 1973. Maybe the best one is him saying that, despite AIDS research and awareness has increased 100-fold, we still know just about as much as we did when it was discovered. However, the winner has GOT to be him comparing the shaving of facial hair (something women also have to do) to childbirth and PMS. Seriously, the guy is a dunce.
