I have been hooked to Grey’s Anatomy since I was 15 – with the season premiere just 18 days away, I can’t wait for it to air already. To be honest, I have been waiting for it since the night Season 12 Finale aired. I’m sure all everybody who’s been following the series religiously would understand, for those who don’t, let me put you up to speed:
- This was a historic finale in Grey’s history, in terms of things falling into place instead of a major catastrophe hitting one of my favorite characters. To be fair, with just a bunch of small Originals left on the show – I’m more than glad Shonda didn’t slaughter anyone in cold blood.
- Jackson and April’s baby was born!
- Owen and Amelia got married.
- Meredith got her moment to breathe and more
- Callie and Arizona are sharing Sofia’s custody
- Jo’s big secret was revealed (Aw, poor Alex! Come to mommy! I’d marry you in an instant)
Why go through with watching the sappy old hospital drama that involves women swooning over guys and everybody sleeping with everybody? Well, my friend, get your head out of your ass and see Grey’s for what it really is. Aren’t we all subjected to the family, boy, sex and work drama every minute of our lives? Aren’t we all just hoping to survive each day? Well it’s lovely to see people whom I hold so dear to me deal with it and survive it.
- I want to see Owen and Amelia honeymooning: Apart from the fact that Owen is one of my favorite kissers on the show – I’d like this total mess of a couple to be happy for a bit. Yes, bit. Too much of it would just be unbelievable.
- I want to see Jackson’s future: Will he be able to date again while co-parenting or he’d get together with April (I pray to God that doesn’t happen)
- Will Alex and Jo be okay? Honestly, they were such a lovely couple. I fell in love with love when they kissed on ‘All of Me’ – it’s a shame to see them like this. Why didn’t Jo have the balls to tell Alex the truth? Why couldn’t Maggie’s irrelevant ex stay out of it. (Was so glad to see his ass getting kicked by Alex)
- Will Meredith’s New Hot Romance Die Already? Now I’m no fan of Maggie and I was very irritated when she blurted out what she did in the finale. SHUT UP, MAGGIE! LET MEREDITH HAVE A MOMENT FFS. I want to see the playful Meredith back on! She’s been through so much, she deserves it.
- My undying trust in Shondaland: There are moments when the show hits a low and is not as exciting but who are we kidding?! They always manage to redeem themselves and are back with full force to make us cry and make our hearts skip a beat.
I know I’ll be sitting in my PJs and tank top with a bag full of chili chips on the 22nd waiting for the streaming link to appear on the website. What are your plans?
