Easy Crocheted Beach Bag Instructions

Last week, during a pending snowstorm, my mom grabbed a past issue of Quick & Easy Crochet Magazine (Spring 2015 issue) along with a few skeins of yarn to keep her busy in case she got snowed in at my brother’s house.

And snowed in, she got, for two nights! She decided to take on this “Easy Breezy Carryall“. Every time I type that, I think of the “Easy Breezy Covergirl” makeup commercials…

This tote is just what you need to take lots of things along with you!

My mom obviously didn’t have the same color choices as suggested in the tote pattern, as she had just randomly grabbed some yarn. So instead of indigo, stonewash and tangerine, Mom used a cream color, light teal and golden yellow. My brother didn’t like her color scheme, and even though he’s a graphic designer, we decided his opinion didn’t matter. I don’t mind the colors.

And here’s a photo of the finished Easy Breezy Carryall Tote. I asked Mom what she plans to use it for, as I’m quite certain she doesn’t tote flowers often (like the magazine photo showed). She said she used it to carry some small things to my brother’s house, but she said it seems perfect to use for a Beach Bag. Bring on summer!
