Cowhouse Market offers guests a regular hangout to experience a farm-setting, without leaving Pretoria. One where they can gather around the rustic tables to enjoy delicious gourmet foods and fruity sangrias from the Udder Bar or well-crafted beers from Hazeldean Brewing Co, whilst collectible antiques spread curiosity, and the smell of hand-made leather products adds to the spice of it all!

A Different Farmer’s Market In Pretoria

A modern farmer’s Market is too simple a way to describe the Cowhouse Night Market, which features handcrafted products and artisanal food such as Real Food Mechanix, who offer South African-Mexican fusion cuisine and Boxcar Deli, who offer mouth-watering burgers with a gourmet twist and homemade relish.

Fitness junkies are also able to enjoy mountain biking and running trails with Hazeldean Valley Trails, whilst dog lovers bring their four legged friends out for the fun.

Guests are also encouraged to participate in this month’s Bi-Annual Beer Mile at Hazeldean Valley Trails in conjunction with Purely Pretoria, which consists of a 1.6km run with a 350ml beer from each of the four ‘hydrate’ stations.

The venue is also the perfect farm experience for entertaining the young ones with pony- rides, jumping castles, our famous duck race, the scavenger hunt, kiddies bike park and early evening outdoor cinema!
