Man!! Yesterday Was Such A Disappointment On So Many Levels…

Yep, you read that right.  Man, it was just one disappointment after another.  I’ve not any recollection of such a day!  It just touched me from every which way!  People, Social Media, news, people, house inspection and sale, accomplishment, people, money, stock market, personal shit…..did I mention ‘people’.

Yesterday is the reason I’m so Glad and grateful for today.

I guess we all have them sooner or later and if that was my one.  I consider myself one and done!

Man!!

Talk about a domino effect!!  I think I handled it pretty well too.  Not a drop of alcohol was consumed.  Took it on the chin like a man.  I mean, what else was I supposed to do??



In the midst I already knew there was a ‘new’ tomorrow waiting for me on the otherside of midnight.

That’s encouraging.

I didn’t even enjoy my 92% cocoa bar!!  And that’s bad.  I know that most people don’t eat that as they prefer milk chocolate.  But, this is much better for my health.  And by the way, I don’t have bad health.  I don’t want to have bad health.

While I’m on the subject of health.  I do like to eat healthy and stay active.  I’m considering broadening my physical activities as I found out how positive my body and my mind responds to the exerction.  I’m even ignoring the pain in my shoulders to do some of the stuff.  I mean, I can’t ignore it a 100% because it is THAT ‘painful’ and there is certain motions I can’t make….but the ones I can, I will do to increase my physical activity.  I’ve actually seen an older picture of me that is my goal.  Now, if only I can behave.

So, yesterday is done.  Man, I’m glad it is….

I’ve put before myself some goals that would surely avoid such days.  It wasn’t a very simple day.  I should be glad that I experienced it when I did rather than later in the future.  As a matter of a fact, I am glad.



And you know…..the ‘people’ issue wasn’t just a one day thingy.  No, that’s been doing the deed to me over the past few weeks.  And, honestly it’s the easiest to solve.

But man!!!  The stock market was just unmerciful on me yesterday.  Well, I did make money…..and it did come from some unexpected stocks.  And then when I checked the afterhours market, I could see some rebound.

Then there’s that social media thing.  I keep saying I’m gonna quit and just use Instagram……but, I haven’t. And of course, social media is people and it is news (fake and unfake) so that’s a bit of a double, triple, maybe even a quadrupple whammy. Man!!



I’m glad today is today.

And of course there’s money……  That’s always an issue.  Yeah, I do well, but I tend to spend too much…..so that’s another goal I’ve etched in my mind.  Hid away the debit card and I’ve spent $6.00 in three days.  That feels good.  Man!  I’m so glad today is today.

And today is lottery day too.  I’m just feeling like a big time winner today.

The really neat thing is that not only me, but you too get a ‘today’ everyday.  So, get out there and take advantage of it.
