Light your candles and get out your favorite fuzzy blanket because it is officially Holiday Season. (Unless you're one of those people who like put up their Christmas decorations as soon as Halloween ends, in which case holiday season began a month ago.)
Despite the staticky(?) hair and chapped lips that this season inevitably brings, there's something about it that's magical. The wind that pinches my cheeks and my breath that condenses in the air make me feel like a child again. To me, winter is looking through frosty, glazed windows, admiring the designs that have been frozen onto the glass overnight, sipping hot chocolate, being lazy, and being happy.
