The Story of an Arrogant Assitant

Have you met a truly arrogant person that you really can't wrap your head on why he is such an ass?
Is it that hard to, be a nice person?

It was an ordinary Press Conference. Me and my teammates with 2 helpful interns are setting up our usual stuff. We are a bit early than expected, (which is a good thing right?) The hotel staff are fixin the tables while we fix the sound and communication system.

As a standard operating procedure, we usually hand this attendance sheets to ALL of the people present during the press conference. This would serve a lot of documentary purposes and also part of our standard.

One of the assistant of the chief of staff of this festival foundation came, he projected that he is in-charge of the whole thing. That's fine with me. I mean, act it all out. I don't care. The funny thing here is, He wont talk to us, really like he is so full of himself, that even a simple Hello or Hi is so below him(it) that we the agency that coordinated this event in their behalf was just a mere workers.

I on the other hand was a bit on the edge because of his presence. So I asked one of our intern to let him sign our humble attendance. For our record purposes. You know what he did. YOU KNOW WHAT HE said!

"I'm a staff. I wont sign that. Then looked at my intern from head to toes then ignores her completely."

I saw the whole thing, the meek shy intern returned to my table, and I felt her a little bit embarrassed.
It's okay, let him be. I assured my intern, Just ask the others.

My fused are almost at the exploding point, but I remained calm and tried to have a clear head.
I just ignored that bitch. (I chant to my self)

Is it hard to write your name on a paper, add your contact? Did he want us to beg? Com'on gay dude!

So, the presscon went on... I'm still observing his attitude. His a bit wary about something, but I ignored him, it seemed he is looking for someone to add and turn on the fan because it's getting a bit hot in the venue (He is seating in the window area near a direct sunlight) If he ordered my interns to carry the fans, I swear I'm going ballistic. Thank God he didn't.

Now we need to go around and ask the media for some questions. I went to a table, where some of the writers and the staff of the said foundation are there. I ask them who would like to ask a question to the panels, so I can give the names to the host. One woman at the age of 45+ said that no one in the table would ask a question. I was a bit taken aback because the way she said it seemed annoyed and  at the same time, I wasn't even done talking.

I said okay, and smiled. Trying to keep my cool. So the presscon was about to end, I ended up forcing my interns to ask questions because, most of the crowds are just the staff and interns of the foundation.

Survey Forms!

Time to fill up the survey forms about the activity I tried to ask around the audience to answer a single page form. Some are willing others are refusing which is ok. That happens. Then this woman earlier which a staff under the same A-hole gay dude, was in a different table where I'm asking some fellow audience if they can answer our survey form. Again she butted in saying and speaking they are not gonna fill out the form. (I'm not even talking to you woman shut it up) I thought she was on the other table. Are the spokesperson of the two tables I went into? Fuck-off woman I'm try'n to do my Job here. I'm about to explode at this point so I smiled at her and to the gay dude who is standing behind her and walked out.

Oh boy! Smile all you want guys this will be the last press conference you'll ever gonna get from us. I swear to God. Treat us shit and boy, oh boy. You'll get things served in your ugly faces.

What's up with the attitude? I don't get it. We don't even know you guys. It's a first time I had to deal with you. No wonder few media arrived. They know how ass you are. The negative vibes and  attitude towards people.
