Swiss Clinic Skin Renewal Review

The post Swiss Clinic Skin Renewal Review appeared first on Life in a Break Down.

Since I've hit my 30s I've been aware of how much I have neglected my skin, partly through ignorance and partly because of my mental and physical health. There are days when, after washing, all I want to do is collapse into a heap. Earlier in the year when I was having a facial, it was pointed out to me that not only did I suffer badly from spots, but I also had a lot of facial scarring. This, of course, is partly due to my long history with spots (they started in primary school after all), as well as being self-inflicted.

So, when the lovely people over at Swiss Clinic got in touch and asked if I would like to try out their Skin Renewal set, which includes a Skin Roller and Rejuvenating Serum I said yes.

Swiss Clinic Skin Renewal

Who are Swiss Clinic?

If you haven't heard of Swiss Clinic before they are a company that works with leading developers worldwide, with their main team based in Switzerland. Their aim is to make high-tech beauty products and treatments with active, natural ingredients, which offer visible and long-lasting results.

What is included in the Swiss Clinic Skin Renewal Kit?

The Skin Renewal Kit contains 2 items, a skin roller in either 0.2 or 0.5 which has an individual RRP of £42 and the Rejuvenating Serum which has an RRP of £69. When bought as the kit it will cost you £84 an overall saving of £27.

I was also kindly sent a Sanitizing Spray, which costs £18 or can be bought in a set of 3 for £22.

What are the benefits of the Swiss Clinic Renewal Kit?

Skin Roller.
As I said before the skin roller comes in two different sizes, it is worth using the roller length guide to find out what is the perfect size for you. The roller can be used across the body and benefits include, helping with acne and facial scarring (a 0.2 is suggested), wrinkles and sagging skin (a 0.5 is suggested), alongside also helping sun spots and pigmentation, stretch marks, body scarring and more.

Rejuvenating Serum.
The Rejuvenating Serum is an anti-ageing serum which is made to work hand in hand with the skin roller. It contains the active ingredient of beta-glucan, which helps stimulate skin rejuvenation and collagen production. With the use of both parts of the set, your skin's natural healing process is accelerated, helping increase skin's elasticity and radiance, alongside reducing the depth of wrinkles.

What did I think of the Swiss Clinic Renewal Kit?

I'm totally going, to be honest, I was scared to use the roller at first. I imagined pain and lots of blood everywhere. However, that didn't happen. I actually found it quite relaxing. Yes, I found sticking needles into my skin relaxing – I am strange.

It is suggested you use the roller for 2 – 3 minutes and then follow with the serum and when it comes to how often to use,  a pattern of using it for 7 days, then taking a 7 day break, is most effective, then repeating this process until you feel your skin looks as you wish it to. At this point, I have used it for a month and I have already noticed a huge difference in my skin.

While I have had spots, they have been few and far between and have been barely visible. My skin tone has evened out and it has made a difference that is also noticeable to others, in particular around my cheeks (it is at this point I realise I haven't embraced my inner beauty blogger and taken before and after pictures – I am sorry). I would definitely be interested to go back to an expert and see if they noticed any difference to the scarring as well.

Overall, I am really impressed with the Swiss Clinic Skin Renewal set and the Rejuvenating Serum is on my rebuy list and if you fancy trying it for yourself, you can, of course, get it over on the Swiss Clinic website, where the set costs £84.

Just to add if you do decide to give this kit, or any other that uses a skin roller a go, please do remember to sanitise it properly between each use.

What do you think of the sound of the Swiss Clinic Skin Renewal kit, would you like to try it?
