My name is Bronagh Cotter. I have Posted this blog in an effort to correct malicious information that has been posted about me, earlier this year, on another internet blog, by an anonymous person, which not only misrepresents the truth but has also caused great upset to myself and my family and has actually hindered my efforts to resolve matters relation to the closure of my business, KCK Kitchen Design, which I ran until 2010.

My shop closed in 2009/10 and the circumstances of this are the subject of a court case, which I expect to take place in mid-2012. The closure of the shop forced my business to close, which regrettably did leave some outstanding repayments - I expect these to be dealt with in 2012. The small number of people affected have been contacted and have been kept fully appraised of the current situation.

I am unable to comment about the litigation concerned, save to say that it is substantial in its nature.

I have been made aware of the blog in question, posted on the web, that contains many inflammatory, sensationalised and deeply upsetting posts about me. It falsely purports to represent people who have been affected by the above matters while not identifying them. It has been created in a most cynical manner, using SEO Optimisation techniques, designed to cause maximum damage to my reputation, and to prevent me achieving any further employment.

Most concerning of all is that the individual behind the blog in question does not identify himself, hiding behind a username, and does not give any contact details by which either I or my solicitor can contact him to compel him to correct the many exaggerations and suppositions made in the blog, or to at least provide some balance or the right of reply.

I have contacted the host of the blog site, Blogger, which is owned by Google, and they state, incredulously, that they will not remove any content posted on their blog network that results in defamation, slander or libel.

It is very unfortunate that someone would post all of the information posted without knowing the full story, or without having the courage to identify themselves, but those who know me are aware of the true facts behind the closure of KCK Kitchen Designs and know that I am doing all in my power to ensure that all matters are resolved.
