Anybody who is engaged in construction of his house either by himself or through a promoter is in the field of understanding and knowing several things about the construction of a house namely; planning designs; appropriate space requirements for bed rooms, toilets, kitchen etc; the quality of materials used like cement, nature of the steel utilized, bricks, mortar, pipes, electrical fittings, wood used for doors and windows, iron gates etc.
It is a common sight to see that the promoters and people who have been constructing the houses visiting the show rooms displaying the various types and kinds of Tiles.
At present the applications of tiles are manifold. There are floor tiles in different dimensions, colors and designs; wall tiles; step tiles; tiles exclusively for toilets; kitchen tiles; tiles exclusively for service rooms; tiles for the portico, pavements and balcony; tiles for frontal elevation etc.,
Whatever may be the size and dimensions of the tiles, the color combination is considered to be the most required one. Different colors offer different kinds of sentiments. In fact while some people like red tiles, some like green or blue color tiles for their toilets. It has been proved that the red color is responsible for tempting the moods; green color for creating pleasantness; blue for warmth; black for gloominess and while for calmness etc. However, many people are not willing to accept such findings and the selection of the tiles irrespective of the facts that they are floor tiles, kitchen tiles, toilet tiles or pavement tiles, it purely rests on the decision making capacity of the owners and promoters concerned to a great extent.
