Want to surprise your loved one and bring tears to their eyes? It's actually really simple to do, and I'm consistently surprised by how few people do things like this. It just reinforces the fact that the smallest things in life are infinitely the most important.

On a piece of paper, or in cardstock, or in an email, or in some other way, write down these words:

I love you because:

Now, put down 20 - 30 reasons that could go here.

It's simple and effective. Write down little things, like these:

You are the best cuddler ever
You always sit so that we are touching on the couch
You let me drive your car
You watch Casablanca with me
You kiss me on the steps
You often tell me that you think I’m beautiful

My girl sent me an email with these (and other wonderful) reasons for love and I would have done anything for her at that moment. I'd even have let her drive my car...

(I don't know how that made it on the list. I don't like having other people behind the wheel of the 'stang. It's a lot of car!)
