Week 7 check-in...



Hey there.  I can't believe it's been seven weeks since surgery!  Time has flown by!  I went back to work this week which was a good thing because I missed my people, but blech...work.


I didn't post a blog last week because I was so bummed out about only losing 1.2 pounds. lol  I know I was being a baby.  But I was like, "What if that's all there is?  What if my body just decides that was it!  We are done losing!"  Every week the number was slowing down and I was like MERP.

But this week with getting back to work and moving more, the scale picked back up again.  When I eventually start working out I know it was really shoot up.  Working out is still on hold though because I have to have some physical therapy first. 

My lower back has been  KILLING me.  I think my SI joint is out of whack (Google it if you don't know what that is), probably from sitting on my couch for six weeks straight. lol  That and my left knee has a pain shooting through it.  It's ironic that the more weight I lose, the more my joints are hurting. *rolling eyes*

Buuuuttttt... everything else is going well.  My clothes are falling off of me.  I gave my friends several garbage bags full of clothes and there will be more to come.  I've gone down a few sizes already and struggle to find things (particularly pants) that fit me.  It's a nice problem to have for sure.  I'm losing weight most in my face, middle stomach, and butt/thighs/hips.  We're on our way!
