Toronto Zombie Walk

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when I say Horror Movies?
Gory scenes of blood, intestines and organs falling out and weird walking dead bodies - Z.O.M.B.I.E.S. !!
Yes!! now imagine the fun when you get to spend a good part of the day with these weird characters and caricatures. It was like Dawn of the dead characters attacking Toronto.
I have had this luck. Twice!! I have been a part of Toronto Zombie Walk 2012 and 2013 and I am here to share my experiences from this year.

Although this year it was all rainy, soggy and wet, the zeal of the participants didn't damp down.
Approximately 10,000 resident of Toronto dressed  in great real life make up of various zombified characters paraded the streets of downtown Toronto. From Mario to Game of thrones, you will find it all.

Toronto Zombie Walk begins with assembling and registration of all participants at Nathan Phillips Square outside Toronto City Hall.
We had a stage performance by Zombie bands followed by zombie parade where the Zombies took to downtown Toronto hunting for fresh bodies (figuratively ;) ). The day ended with a Closing performance and some fun memories.

I am sharing this Rick Mercer Report from the CBC channel. This will help relive those fun moments if you missed it. looking forward to see you around for the next year.
