J brought home a stray cat…
And normally I would have said no… well wait I did say no…
And well then he cried…Not sure what that was all about but the cat did stay…
We have had this new little kitten for a little over a week and it’s just a wild little cat…
Last night we let it go outside…
Now I keep telling those wonderful children of mine to watch the cat…she was a stay and well the neighbors have a couple of bigger meaner cats and we don’t want her to get hurt…
Well once again my children did not listen…
They took that sweet kitten outside to play and well she made a friend…
Or caught one any ways…
That kitten brought in a live baby mouse and started to play with it…
And of course we are all yelling at the top of our lungs and the cat is oblivious cuz she found a friend…
I’m standing on the couch, M is jumping up and down and well K is running from room to room…
It’s safe to guess hubbby wasn’t home, and well how the boys slept through that entire racket just amazes me….
I’m a chicken so I would not go near the cat and K won’t go near it and so it was M who saved the day…
She jumped over the cat, opened that front door and called that kitten outside…
But wait the kitten followed her back through the door so that didn’t work…
So we start yelling at her to toss the cat out…thinking cats land on their feet…M picks up the cat and tosses (gently and yes she was screaming) out into the grass…
Now I truly do think this kitten is crazy cuz she never let go of the mouse …
And she could care less what we were doing or that we were all yelling…
She just wanted to play with her new found friend...
She did land on her feet and then she played…
We watched her play with that mouse for almost an hour…
When she was done she walked up to the front door and meowed…
My conclusion…
We are not the most normal family and well the kitten doesn’t seem so normal either so I guess she has found a home …
