E is still trying to sell us on the DSI member ship…
And he is trying to be as logical as he can, it’s really cute….
So far we have heard…
1. What if all my friends have it then don’t I need it??
2. I can watch movies while we are driving and I won’t have to fight with G in the car…
3. (Oh and this one is my favorite) Mom, it’s a life time membership so you won’t just be buying it for me but my kids can use it too…lol
In case you haven’t gotten it July in our household is like Christmas time…
Both of the younger two have birthdays and since we do not buy any toys or extras except at birthdays or Christmas the list keeps growing and growing and growing…
And they do try to be as economic as they can be at their age …I guess
I get to hear how they have decided not to have birthday parties and therefore there is more money to spend on presents and are they not spending less than the older too and so why can’t they have all the think they need and more….
Yet there is that part of me that stops to consider the fact that just maybe with all their logic and reasoning maybe just maybe my children are just to spoiled…
And yet even as that conclusion comes into my mind I hear the two of them whispering in the corner…
What If I ask for this and you ask for that and we just share…
And my heart just melts and I smile because maybe they are spoiled but they do seem to work together well and are creating a bond that will last a life time…
And isn’t that bond worth all the money in the world??
