Allowance is a new thing in our home and the boys seem to be doing well with it…
E saved his money to purchase a new marshmallow gun…it was a whopping 20.00
So it took him to weeks of work to earn the money…
He was very excited and very proud of himself…and well so was I
That was until we got it home and tried it out…
First a screw fell out of it…so I fixed that
Then the marshmallows kept getting stuck in it and it was the gooiest mess I’ve ever had to deal with…
But hot water fixed that…
I tried cheap marshmallows..Then I tried the name brand none of them worked…
So poor E who worked so hard for his money had a gun that would not work….
And then our shinning knight came home for a night (he works on the road)
And he came up with the idea of freezing the marshmallows…
And tada…it works…
E is happy…I’m happy…
And we were reminded how much we still need dad!!!
