8 ways to create a better you!

 

     When there is a need or desire for change, how do you create positive lasting change that leads to a better, more vibrant you??
Seeking change doesn't always mean there is some huge problem that needs immediate fixing. Sometimes change is gradual and continuous. Either way, truth is, one single change in perception can make an enormous impact! Imagine, for example the power of a woman changing her perception from "I never do anything right" to "I am capable".  Changes like this are what leads quickly to a better self-concept which leads to a better you!

The following 8 ways can be used right now have the potential to better yourself and transform your life!
1) Let go of negativity.
Negativity is anything that pulls you down. It includes Negative Thinking, holding grudges, and negative people in your life. Let them go! Kick grudges and negative thinking to the curb too.

      2) Add positive affirmations to your routine
What you say with your mouth can affect what you think in your mind. Think about it! Try it. Speak positively and think positive.


      3)  Take some time off social media.
There are so many things to take our attention and time. Social media sites are great, but sometimes your mind and body needs a break from all the traffic! Try taking a couple days, week, a month off.  And see what kind of changes it can make.

      4) Get your emotions out.
This means not bottling things up and consciously getting things off your mind. You can talk to a trusted friend, mentor, or simply write your feelings down. Find a way to get emotions outside of yourself.

      5) Treat yourself.
Treat yourself! Pamper yourself! Have a spa day, a delicious dessert, a walk through a beautiful park. Take time for yourself.
      6) Get active.
Everyone knows that physical activity sparks goof hormones in our body. So get active!! Go for a quick walk, take up a sport, head to the gym, etc.

        7) Surround yourself with love.
Get positive people around you. These are friends and family that really care about you and want to see you succeed. A positive support system of these types of people is probably one of the best things you can do for yourself!

8) Believe in yourself and your abilities!!
