Rant from a fellow football fan

Tyler is not a bitter Spurs fan (like me), ranting because of injustice to his beloved team.  He is simply sick of the corrupt Modern Game and its unwillingness to change. This is what he said:

"I think the FA's decision to ban him is about as big an insult as the Balotelli stamp because it is an admittance by the football governing body that Balotelli cheated, should have been sent off, subsequently wouldn't have been on the pitch to win the penalty or to score the penalty that won City the game and effectively ended Spurs title challenge. Furthermore, a deliberate stamp on a players face who is lying on the ground amounts to a criminal offence of "battery". Like you said, City are laughing because if you had propositioned them before the game "we'll give you three points if you lose Balotelli for four games" they would have said yes because they have assembled a squad that can afford to lose Balotelli, Adebayor and Tevez and still be able to put Aguero and Dzeko on the pitch. That is the fault of the FA for not imposing financial restrictions on the transfer market. The second point to note is that, when the stamp occurred, Parker should have notified the referee of an altercation, the referee should have reviewed the incident at the side of the pitch and made an "informed" decision. The FA will hold their hands up and say "we have punished Balotelli, there is nothing more we can do" but I'm sorry, that simply isn't true. Football still has a tribal following from losers who fill their entire lives with loyalty to their club and always will do (like Indian Arsenal fan who is too stupid to see anything beyond "I support Arsenal blindly and nothing else matters"), but if football wants to continue to appeal en mass (and lets face it, it's the become the biggest money spinning industry in the country) then they simply need to implement the changes that address the modern game. End of rant.

...continued rant - and the FA have absolutely no excuses either because they were given fair warning of the game falling into the state that its become. In the past twenty years we have seen a rise in the number of "play actors", an increase in the number of cameras and technology that "monitor the game" and incidents before where clubs have attempted to buy trophies. Leeds tried it, Blackburn succeeded at it and Chelsea set a horrible new precedent. End of rant ... again.

Football to me, will always be, the last minute of a World Cup knockout phase game between England and Belgium where Gazza floats a ball into the box and David Platt hits a volley on the turn into the back of the net and Linekar reeling away in celebration with that "fuck! wow! I never saw that coming expression on his face". Football never should be, a fat and bloated David Platt running on the pitch after a Manchester derby to push a clearly incensed Rio Ferdinand away from a mischievous cunt like Balotelli who giggles disrespectfully like an infantile shit eater."

Legend. Tyler for Prime Minister.
