Mischievous Little Boys

On Sunday night, my six year old comes out of the Bathroom (in the evening after he'd gotten into his PJ's, went tinkle and brushed his teeth) and asks me and Chris "what would happen if a bottle got flushed down the toilet?". Of course the first thing I asked him was why he was asking that question...not really wanting to hear the answer. I keep several things on the back of the sink in the bathroom such as both boys toothpaste (the baby has toddler toothpaste and the older one will only brush with this putrid strawberry flavored kind), my deodortant, hair gel and a few other things.

He proceeds to tell us how a "white bottle" fell into the toilet as he was flushing and went down. I ran over to the sink to try and figure out what it was, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Then my kiddo told me it said "Dove" on the bottle. It was my stick of deodorant. Oh crap. We tried plunging it and Chris tried sticking a wire hanger in there to get it out, but it wasn't gonna happen.

Yesterday I had a plumber come out and he basically had to take apart the whole toilet and vacuum it out. It took him about 1/2 hour, but he finally got it. Thank god. We have another bathroom upstairs, so it wasn't an emergency or anything, but it was still a major pain in the ass.
I still can't imagine how it could have accidentially fallen in there, so I assume he put it in there to see what would happen if he tried to flush it. Little boys.
