The Hit Movie Syndrome

I don’t know how many of you are aware of the fact that i’ am a real superstitious guy. Well if you are not here are some of the general facts:
I don’t cut my nails on Tuesday and Saturday or after dusk.I keep away glass items which have cracked from my room, even if it is a small  crack or even if it is one of my favourite things. I don’t sprinkle water on people’s face even for fun and the strangest of all is the Hit movie song superstition .

The patent rights to this superstition is mine as I believe that this one is the grotesque creation of my very own mind. The fundamental rule of this superstition is that if your about to do something important like say giving an exam or an interview, never sing or think of a song from a flop or average movie even if it is a good one. The song which runs around in your mind should be from a hit movie never mind how idiotic the song may be. I developed this theory way back in 2005 when i was righting my tenth board exam . When my results came the theory had proved itself right. The superstition was an integral part of my success in twelfth board as well as in JEE and the magic continues here in IITR too.
It may seem strange that people ( i don’t know about you guys but i do) believe in similar outlandish superstitions. My theory of justification for such phenomenon is the human need for a element providing confidence and such superstitions are the minds way of making one confident. So never be bothered even if one is called a lunatic for such strange superstitions because eventually its your peace of mind that is essential in accomplishing a task
