The Disease Of Hatred

"A dreadful malady of the heart" is the most apt explanation I can think of when the word Hatred comes to my mind. I would say it is one of the most under written topics ever, as anyone and everyone wants to talk or write only about love and no one seems to be interested in writing on this topic at all.

After seeing it from close quarters and being a victim and patient of it, I would say I am qualified to at least at the least level to write about it, with the sole intention of course to warn others of its treacherous and fatal consequences.

The moment this Disease besets itself on someone, it begins to eat away all the good from the heart it parasites on and spreads its venom all through the Body with the swift flow of blood. Giving no time to the person infected to reflect on its mean and malicious outbursts. The moment it touches the eyes, it turns them green with envy, the ears it makes them deaf to sane advice and counsel, the tongue to spitefulness and cynicism, the touch to injury and hurt, the sense of smell, poignant to others perfumes. The mind to conniving and conspiractional thoughts of the victims.

It slices love with its cold sword of animosity to bits, its slaughters relations in cold blood of abhorrence, it murders good memories in cold dissolution, Ah! It takes over all your faculties to repugnance, spreading like cancer all through your body to enslave your mind, body and soul to odium. Leaving you more and more repulsive and despised by others by the minute. The more you hate the more hideous it makes you, the more hideous you become, the more gruesome and ghastly will be its spread.

It can infect lovers, siblings, families, friends, strangers and enemies alike; sparing none from its obnoxious distresses and agonizing pains in the heart and all over.

Its only cure lies in compassion, tolerance, forgiveness for others and restraining our epileptic emotions to tranquil sequent. From being beastly to human the only thin line dividing us is hatred and its absence. One may find it hard to forget and forgive, but it is the only remedy for this disease, and the sooner it is done, the lesser the damage done. The longer the delay in treatment the longer it will take for recovery, the delay in treatment can result it permanent corrosion to leave behind deep and ugly scars to remind us always of its violent assault on our mind, body and soul.

My humble advice to one and all is not to tread this trail of menace and malice as its hurts the self and others with its noxious and viscous fangs and like acid, eats away the dish it resides in from within and intoxicates all around.
