My Gut Feel (MGF) and comments:

“Truth searches for no one. It awaits to be found.”
Quote stated above fits aptly for the storyline of “Rukh” From its trailer, it appears to be a very interesting and engaging film.
Manish Mundra the founder of Drishyam Films has produced this movie. He is a very passionate film producer who is still connected with his roots and enjoys producing movies that are unconventional. He has delivered brilliant films like Ankhon Dekhi, Dhanak, Masaan, Waiting and Newton.  For him story is the hero and everything revolves around it. You can create a spectacular movie with a great story with good actors and he firmly stands with this belief.
Atanu Mukherjee has done noticeable work as an editor primarily associated with short films.
Rukh”  starcast is fitting the bill as per the requirement, be it the intense Manoj Bajpyee or character like Kumud Mishra or the stark look of a son searching for the truth portaited by Adarsh Gourav.
Without any superstar name, movie might face a challenge in alluring audiences to cinema halls. Though this movie deserves to be watched by  larger audience as it has an engaging murder mystery which audiences would enjoy. Unfortunately diverse films like this find space to shine only at International films festivals.
Going by My Gut Feeling (MGF), I am giving this movie 3.5 stars out of 5 three days before the release. 3 stars for Atanu Mukherjee’s brave attempt to take up this unconventional story. And additional half a star for Manish Mundra, who understands India well enough to patronage its vivid stories and eccentric directors who can bring India alive on screen in the most realistic manner.
