Intelligent people Love freedom.

Intelligent people simply need to be “me.”

Intelligent people want to be loved duly,

not barely or measly.

Intelligent people don’t want to be controlled.

Nor do we wish to be talked down to,

nor do we wish to be scolded,

when we need a shoulder to cry to.

And sadly the thing is

intelligent people know best,

our own faults and wrongdoings,

yet we choose to digress.

We actively choose to Ignore all our plights,

we project unto others,

fighting the wrong fights.

We talk all day long,

about what we should and would do,

when the clock begins ticking

don’t get on the move.

We love to take advice,

from others just as decrepit,

as if Jesus didn’t die

to shield us from this same weapon.

We love to play dunce

as if not truly smart

when time comes to show off

we don’t know where to start.

Intelligent people,

we’ll meet our own ends,

because we refuse to acknowledge our sins.

We use our blind eye

to ignore all our troubles,

we may looks like angels

but once so did the Devil.
