I'm going to let the images mainly do the talking, but I must say that you might notice the quality of photo gets better as the tour progresses! I was beyond excited the whole way through but at some point I stopped jumping about and managed to get some pretty good shots.

(I don't think I actually did, pretty sure all the decent ones were taken by my Boy!)

Once through the entrance you go into this huge room with these. I wasn't lying when I said I was excited, that's not just bad photography, that is utter excitement and joy at being there!


When Sirius passed through the veil I was reading The Order Of The Phoenix in a very popular National Trust garden (I forget which one) on a hot Summer day - the day it was released. There I was, sat alone on the grass by a path where lots of people were walking past. I had no idea what was coming and I definitely would not have been reading it in public had I known! I tried so hard to hide the sobs but I ended up a blubbering wreck cuddling the grass.

Needless to say I got a LOT of unwanted attention that day. I can laugh about it now 😁
