My next car will have good-looking actual wheels, not Wheel covers. Last week, Wheel Cover #3 on my Toyota Camry bit the dust. Some backstory… the first one mysteriously vanished about a year ago. No idea what happened to it. I just came out one morning, and it was gone. Cars look sad when they lose wheel covers.

So I replaced that one. Thanks, eBay!

I know what happened to the second one. The older kid hit a giant pothole during one of our driving sessions. It wasn’t an immediate victim of the pothole. No, it waited until I was driving the next day to fall off as I went around a curve, lol.

The third one came off last week. But I *saw this one. I noticed it was loose, and I poked around at it, And off it came. So now I’m driving around again on a car with a missing wheel cover. And I keep forgetting to drop the broken wheel cover at the trash. And I’ve found myself explaining to more than one person why I have a wheel cover in my backseat. I should just buy a full set.
