Everyone has a weakness when it comes to makeup. Mine – Eyeliner. At some point in my life I got a handle of it but as soon as I stopped using it – my skill magically went away. Perfect eyeliner application requires practice which I tend to forget to do. Eyeshadow girl all the way. However, I decided to try to improve my makeup skills and give a hand to eyeliners once again.

Just as it is important to practice, it is also very crucial to find the right tool to practice with. There are a lot of great drugstore eye liners but for a person like me who is just an amateur and learning in the eyeliner game, I have to find the best option for me.

Not so long ago my sister brought me the Kiko Milano Signature Eye Marker and I decided to ty it.

The eyeliner costs around $9 and can be found in stores in most countries around the world. For a drugstore eyeliner the price is affordable.

The pros:
1. Great plastic packaging, comfortable to use, appealing to the eye
2. Black carbon tone of the product itself
3. The unique shape of the marker tip helps you to do sharp thin lines on the lid.
4. Doesn’t dry fast so you can fix it easily
5. Affordable
6. Does not smudge easily, stays put

The cons:
1. The packaging is white and gets dirty very easily
2. The unique tip makes it hard to draw sharper lines outside your eye-lids
3. Eyeliner ink fades quite fast and takes a lot more effort to apply it
4. If you want to clean up your work, the ink doesn’t make it very easy
5. The ink is on the drier side so does not have that bright black effect, resembles more of a gel eyeliner

Overall, I do think that this is a good eyeliner and not so hard to apply. However, if you are still trying to learn using eyeliner as best as you can and want an easy application – this won’t be it. There are much cheaper and better quality eyeliners out there that you could choose. Will let you know in a due course which ones I love! ‘
