Discovering a great eye shadow Palette that is affordable and has a great quality is so damn hard. Makeup revoliution has been one of the drugstore front show-runners in the beauty world. They are well-known their Iconic palettes, however they are not the best. Not that long ago the I HEART MAKEUP PALETTES became available in my country and I had to pick one to try.

I am mostly addicted to mauve, Orange, peachy, bronze and purple tones when it comes to eye makeup. So I went for I HEART MAKEUP, CHOCOLATE ORANGE palette. The palette cost around 12 euro but I am very sure in others countries it comes much cheaper.

So here are some pros and cons

to this item.

Pros:

1. The thing I loved the most about the palette is the smell. Since the theme is oranges and orange shades, it seriously smells like oranges. I am not kidding. Every time you put on makeup it’s like walking through the field of oranges. In a way that can’t be good since it’s probably some sort of fragrance but do not care. Smells delightful.
2. The shades and quality. It comes with 16 different shades of orange, brown-ish and little mauve shades. There are 5 shimmery tones. The quality of the eye shadow is great as well. I was really impressed. You do not need a lot of product to use, a little goes a long way. Blends great too.
3. The product is very affordable. Considering the quality and what you get – really something worth getting!
4. Packaging. It comes with a mirror and one of those sponge double-sided brushes which isn’t that bad to apply some shading on the lid.

Cons:

1. The shimmers. Tho the matt shades are of wonderful quality, the shimmer shadows are not as good. They are not bad but the formula could be really improved. You will need some effort to blend it or apply.
2. Lack of lighter shades. There are variety of different shades to choose from. One thing that I wasn’t happy with is that there are not so many neutral shades to put on a crease as a transition shade.

As you see I cannot name many cons to this palette because I simply love it! I really prefer this over my Morphe which sounds just odd but true.

If you are looking for everyday natural looking eye-shadow palette then this won’t really work. But if you want some boom on you eyes and look peachy and beautiful – this will be your best friend!
