GOSH MINERAL POWDER?!

It’s been a while since I posted something. Had a crazy couple of weeks. My best friend’s birthday as well as mine was almost the same week , plus work, dating and all. So a lot going on.

However, this I was so excited to write about! A perfect summer time foundation is so hard to find. Most good coverage having ones are usually heavier and the ligh-weight foundations does not smooth out the complexion as well. One great option is mineral powders! There are not many good ones to choose from, especially affordable ones. Tho, I managed to find one!

My sister recommended me the Gosh Mineral Powder. It usually retails around 15 euro but I managed to get it on sale so if you could get a deal on that you will be lucky. Trust me!

The powder comes mostly comes in 4 shades from Ivory to Tan so if you have a deeper skin tone it will be hard to find your shade. What surprised me a lot is that the lightest shade is perfect for us pale girls. Most foundations are too dark for me, even the shades like Ivory or Porcelain. However, the shade 002 Ivory of the mineral powder is just perfect.

Also, got to mention that Gosh is a cruelty free company and they try to make their products safe to use. So that is something I look for in my makeup.
Let’s talk packaging. Gosh mineral powder comes in a plastic container with protected turning top and a cap as well. There is 8 g or 0.3 oz for my US friends of product. It seems like it’s not much but I have been using the powder for more than a month and I’m not even halfway through.

Formula. The powder is soft and spreads out evenly very easy. It makes your skin matt but not flat (that sounded cliche damn). It perhaps has that more of a satin effect. You will get the best application with a fluffy powder brush. Currently I am using the powder brush by Jessup makeup.
Breakouts? I love that it does not break me out! Since I have sensitive and acne-prone sin, almost everything breaks me out and this doesn’t. That fact alone shows that I found a winner.

Lasting power. It does last pretty long for a mineral powder. After around 4 hours you will see it fading. Of course if it is hot or you’re being active then it will fade much sooner. At the end of the work day, the powder does not stay put as much. That is the one negative I have to say.
Coverage. Another thing I loved was that the coverage is crazy good. I tried masking some fresh acne with full-coverage foundations, concealers but nothing and one swipe of this and it worked like magic! The more product you add, the more coverage you will get so it is buildable.

Overall, loved this mineral powder. This is the perfect option for warm weather or if you just like that flawless look and want to save time applying your makeup but still want to look on point. Your complexion will be evened out and pores minimized. Isn’t that what every girl wants?

Recommend for sure!
